Sandwiches
You have the chance to include a little savoury to your Countryside walk by adding our freshly made sandwiches to the Yew Tree cream tea and home made cakes. Each serving includes one round of sandwiches (4 small sandwiches) with salad and crisps garnish. Crisps can be any brand.
The sandwiches will be brown/granary bread and will be one of the following four fillings.
- Cheese & Chutney
- Brie redcurrant & rocket
- Tuna mayo & spring onion
- Ham salad
If you prefer a specific filling, have a gluten free requirement or are vegetarian please email us beforehand (preferably within a month of the date of the walk not earlier).
The cost of this is £4.50 per portion (per round).
Orders for two or more people within one booking will have different fillings for each round of sandwiches.
It is also possible to add optional sandwiches to the coffee and cake alpaca walk experience on a Saturday morning.
Please note it is not possible to have sandwiches instead of the cream tea/cakes included in the cost of the Countryside walk. The above offer is in addition.

Gift Box

Alpaca walking colour leaflet, Walk programme for your chosen date, About Yew Tree colour leaflet, fleece sample, Christmas/greeting card & A5 flat packed gift box, gift rosette. Will arrive flat packed.
Premium cost £10
The above with alpaca key ring, & post card added. Please note this will arrive flat packed. There is a £2 fee to cover postage.

Terms & Conditions
Please note the following terms & conditions regarding Yew Tree Alpacas, Alpaca Mini
- We can take a maximum of 8 alpacas on the mini. If the bookings fall below 4 then we will offer an alternative date or your money back.
- When walking on the mini we have two Yew Tree personnel on foot at the front and back of the alpacas for extra safety and security.
- Children are welcome 10 years and above. They can share an alpaca with an adult but the accompanying adult must be 16 years or above. Note on the Alpaca Mini it is possible to book one alpaca for one child 10-15yrs
- Children accompanying an adult (sharing an alpaca) must be 10 yrs and over.
- Note if you book just 1 adult 1 alpaca option we assume you will be attending alone. If it is only you who wants to do the walk and your partner isn't interested then you book the shared option and you do all the walking with our alpaca
- If you come with someone who has not booked, they should either drop you off and return later or wait in the car. There is no waiting area on site for those who have not booked.
- There is no discount on the two person price if the child is one of the pair.
- Our all inclusive price includes the initial talk, advice and guidance on handling, the alpaca experience in our fields and tea/coffee biscuits (or cream tea depending on option selected) at the end of the walk.
- On booking you will receive confirmation by email within 48 hrs. Approx 5-7 days before the event you will receive the detailed programme and info about what to wear and what to expect.

- Date changes cost £10 per booking up to 14 days before the date of your walk. If you wish to do this then please contact us and we will provide you with a code to use so you can rebook yourself. This code will be for your original purchase price minus our £10 admin fee.
- It is not feasible to change to another date within 14 days of your walk.
- Cancellation 14 or more days prior to the event 50% refund. Within 14 days no refund.
- If some or all of your group do not attend on the day there are no refunds.
- If showery/light rain on the day of the visit it is likely to be going ahead. However if there are high winds/heavy rain (or other unforeseen circumstances) then we may have to cancel the visit. We will telephone/email you by 7.30am if the walk is to be cancelled. We will offer you a voucher code for the full value of your booking so you can book one of our walks in 2024 (or if you prefer a refund this will also be feasible minus an admin charge of £5.00). Please note this is only if we (Yew Tree Alpacas) have to cancel the walk.
- Please note the duration of the mini walk. If you are a slow walker, unsteady on your feet or have an injury which impacts on your walking ability, then the mini should be suitable but you should email us to check - otherwise book our Alpaca Adventure. You must be able to use both hands to hold the lead rope when walking your alpaca, if you cannot do this then the alpaca walks are not suitable for you.
- Alpacas can be scared or surprised by sudden sounds/movement this means that it is possible your alpaca may suddenly pull or shy during the walk. This is not common/usual but it is possible. You must be confident that you have the strength to hold the alpaca if he suddenly pulls forward during the walk.
- If you are not sure then please telephone us and we will advise whether the walk is suitable or rather our alpaca adventure may be more suitable.
