Alpaca Adventure

We organise a small number of alpaca adventure events during the year in addition to our alpaca walks.  These typically last around 2-2½  hours. You not only learn about alpacas you get to meet and feed the real thing!

The visit includes a talk about alpacas, seeing the raw alpaca fleeces and the lovely soft yarns made from them.  You then visit and feed our alpacas- get chance to feed them and get up close and friendly with lots of photos opportunities. Note, alpaca walking is not included in this event.

The adventure afternoon completes with a range of home made cakes, refreshments, crisps and biscuits. Sandwiches can be booked as an optional extra at £5 per person.

This event is suitable for people of limited mobility and wheelchair users. Note, however that the ground is uneven and care must be taken when walking in the fields. Depending on the weather and ground conditions, wheelchairs can be taken into the field.
