Superior Ivory Alpaca Yarn - Double Knit

This beautifully soft, ivory double knit yarn comes in 50g balls from the fleece our own herd Yew Tree Alpacas. It is 100% alpaca, a totally natural product, the only 'miles' being to the mill and back to the East Anglia alpaca mill near Norwich. The superior quality of this yarn is evident in its even spin, high level of consistency and extra soft feel.

This yarn is spun only from our alpacas with fleece below 26 microns in diameter for maximum softness and warmth. (To determine the fleece diameter we send away samples of fleece each year after shearing)

This yarn is excellent for knitting accessories, gloves, scarves and hats.

All our alpaca yarns including this one carry the British Alpaca Fibre mark for yarns produced from UK alpacas, spun in a UK mill and being 100% alpaca, so you have the  reassurance of knowing the provenance of your alpaca yarn compared to buying one of many imported yarns available. You'll see the Union Jack mark on each label.

Washing instructions - Either hand wash or machine wash wool cycle at max 30C. Lay flat to dry.
