Superior Silver Grey 100% alpaca yarn from the Yew Tree herd
This beautifully soft 100% alpaca yarn comes in aran weight from the fleece our own herd, Yew Tree Alpacas. It is 100% alpaca, a totally natural product, and is spun by the Natural Fibre Company.
This yarn is spun only from our alpacas with fleece below 25 microns in diameter for maximum softness and warmth.
This aran yarn is ideal for knitting beanies, wristwarmers, gloves and scarves. We also feel although not yet used for knitting waistcoats and cardigans it should also work very well.

For a scarf of 135cm+ we advise 4 balls
All our alpaca yarns including this one carry the British Alpaca Fibre mark for yarns produced from UK alpacas, spun in a UK mill and being 100% alpaca, so you have the reassurance of knowing the provenance of your alpaca yarn compared to buying one of many imported yarns available. You'll see the Union Jack mark on each label.
Washing instructions - Either hand wash or machine wash wool cycle at max 30C. Lay flat to dry.
