Sun shines for our WI friends

Our Summer group visit with Balsham WI proved a hit with Alpacas and visitors alike. Getting up close and friendly was the order of the day as you can see in our photos below. The sun shone as the group were able to lead our alpacas, feed and feel their lovely soft fleece. One of the girls, Minnie, was especially keen to eat the plentiful carrots being offered.

The initial talk on alpacas got everyone familiar with alpaca the animal, and the two visits to our mums and babies and then the boys allows close ups with the real thing!

The 'all home made' afternoon tea that followed was a hit with our hungry ladies and the chocolate biscuit cake went down real treat. Chrissie was a great tea host making sure everyone had plenty to eat and drink.

This was the first group to try out our new super white marquee. This will certainly keep all our groups cosy and dry should the weather be less kind than to our Balsham group. With space for 16-18 and to showcase our products it will certainly make things much easier going forward.

Hi Penny & Steven, just a quick note to say thank you both for a truly enjoyable afternoon we both had with you both, all the alpacas and of course Isaac. I have wanted a walk with them for years and it was well worth waiting for. We very much want to come again so keeping my fingers crossed.

What an absolutely brilliant experience. We both enjoyed it very much and hope to return to do another walk with you soon.
