Enjoy a hugeable day out painting alpacas

Join us at Yew Tree Alpacas, Anstey on Saturday 2nd August for our highly original needle felting workshop, making a needle felted alpaca from super soft  alpaca fleece from the Yew Tree herd.

This one day workshop includes expert tuition on how to make a felted alpaca (in sitting position), a visit to see some of Yew Tree’s Alpacas, a sandwich lunch and coffee and biscuits. All materials and tools are supplied, with tuition and advice throughout the day.

You will be guided every step of the way by expert needle felter Sonia Skinner. Sonia has been felting since 2019 and specializes in needle felting a wide range of animals, regularly taking commissions from pet owners and selling online and at craft fairs in the Eastern region.

Class size is a maximum of 10to enable plenty of time for individual advice and guidance from Sonia during the day. The workshop is suitable for beginners or intermediate needle felters alike.

The complete workshop, including tuition, tools, alpaca fleece from the Yew Tree herd and materials, lunch and refreshments is excellent value at £70 /person for the day.

(Note the workshop includes a needle felting toolkit to take away so you can get use your new skills on other projects)
