We are thrilled to anounce Yew Tree's first arrival of 2016, lovely Leo, has been born to first time mother Audrey. There was great excitement on Tuesday June 21st when our first home-bred black alpaca arrived. Leo weighed in at 8.1kgs, a healthy weight for a new born cria.

With no brothers or sisters to run around with he had to entertain himself and this he certainly did, as you can see by his action image below.

Leo's growing fast, only 8 days later he is 11.1 kgs, so no theres no stopping him. In fact we are can't keep up his daily weighs, weighing is now down to every 2-3 days as hes so fast we struggle to catch him!
